Creating, managing and presenting GIS data is an essential asset in today’s world. We provide clients with expert knowledge and creativity to manage, analyze and present a wide variety of data. Our GIS services include:

Data Management

  • Database Design
    • Develop custom data models and best practices to build efficient GIS databases
  • Address Data Management
    • Geocoding – Convert physical addresses to a geographic location on the Earth’s surface
    • Reverse Geocoding – Convert geographic locations on the map to a description of a location such as a place or address
  • Asset Data Collection
    • Roads, Traffic Signals, Facilities, Bridges, Streetlights, Guardrails, Sidewalks, etc.
  • Inspections
    • Roads – Using the ESRI Collector application, field crews can inventory intersections, roads, and physical characteristics such as speed limits, functional class, lane width, and number of lanes
    • Fire Hydrants – Using the ESRI Collector application, fire personnel will be able to inspect and inventory fire hydrants to ensure every hydrant performs properly in an emergency situation. Fire Hydrant Inspections also improves fire personnel’s awareness of location and access of hydrants
    • Backflow – Using the ESRI Collector application, field crews will be able to inventory and inspect backflow prevention devices. If a device does not meet the standards of the EPA’s Safe Drinking Water Act, repairs and replacements can be reported from the field
    • Manholes – Using the ESRI Collector application, field crews will be able to view manhole locations on a smartphone or tablet and perform scheduled or “on the fly” manhole inspections. This workflow eliminates the paper report used by field crews in the past
