Project Engineer (Water)
CNC Engineering is seeking a water/wastewater project engineer. Job duties include, but are not limited to, designing, reviewing and coordinating, under the oversight of the project manager, engineering plans, specifications, cost estimates and technical reports for water/wastewater systems. Experience in business development with existing relationships in the water industry is a plus. The following qualifications and experience are preferred:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited institution
- 7-12 years professional experience in the design of water transmission/distribution systems, reclaimed water, wastewater systems, and pump stations
- Knowledge of local applicable design standards
- Experience working with water agencies in Southern California
- California PE license preferred
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation communications skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications
- Familiarity with AutoCAD/Civil3D and other appropriate design software
